“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all people. And the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47 NIV
Membership is entered into at PBC voluntarily. One has to have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and been born again, followed by baptism through immersion according to Mark 16:15-16 and Romans 6:1-3.
Membership is encouraged and one can make that move and ask for membership in any of our Sunday Services during the altar call. We believe that it is God who adds to the church those who believe and need to be nurtured.
Membership is valued because it gives one an opportunity for fellowship, growth and service according to Romans 12:1-21. You cannot thrive alone in this journey.
Membership is about relationships. The church is not made up of perfect people. It is made up of those who desire to be bound together under the leadership and love of Christ and to bear fruit according to John 15.
Membership is honouring to God. It is He who birthed the church for the sake of advancing the Kingdom of God on earth. We are a chosen people and a royal priesthood according to I Peter 2:9-10.
